He was also asked if his diet had changed over time. “Oh yeah, I don’t eat too much red meat anymore. I used to be like “steak every day”, but I’m almost 50, and I gotta lay off the caviar, oysters, beer, red wine – all the things of a king’s diet. All the things that are bad for ya. All the things I love.”
He said his top favorite Hawaiian foods of all time are “taro, kalo, poi. – any form. Baked, fried, smashed, I love.”
His one food from his childhood that he still loves without a doubt is “Kraft Macaroni and Cheese.” His go-to sushi order? ” Uni with cavior on top.” Favorite carb? “Pasta.” He said that his favorite protein is fish.
When asked about chunky or smooth peanut butter, he said, “I want the dirty one. Peanut butter Skippy chunky.” Best smell in the world? “Some kind of meat stew.”
