A lighthearted quiz revealed something most men probably don’t want to hear: that they know far less about women’s everyday lives than they think.

Kevin Hart has spent decades making us laugh at his own expense. However, during a recent episode of the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, Alex Cooper took a different approach that brought out the side of him many may not have seen. She created a fun visual quiz to see how well Hart understood everyday items related to women. Despite being a proud father of daughters, Hart struggled a bit with some common household items. Watching him guess and come up with funny names for everyday products emphasizes the importance of men understanding women’s everyday experiences.

During the quiz on the podcast, Cooper told Hart she would test his “knowledge of girlhood.” She showed him pictures of various items and asked him to identify them. The first item was a beauty blender, a tool used for applying makeup. Hart looked at it and guessed, “That’s a rose,” then tried again with “a patella” before finally saying, “That’s a makeup thing,” after a closer look. He joked that the pink color threw him off, which makes sense if you’ve never used this tool before.

His guesses didn’t improve much from there. When shown a sheet of pimple patches for acne, he didn’t even take a guess at all and kept giving wrong answers, one of which was a birth control kit.

However, he did show a hint of recognition when he was shown an eyelash curler. He knew it was something for his eyes, calling it a tool to “get my eyes together”. He showed similar instincts when guessing about the toe separators women use when applying nail paint. Initially, he struggled to identify them, but eventually suggested they were for feet, so he was at least headed in the right direction. The last item was a hair-dryer diffuser, and Hart humorously suggested it was a “max water pressure shower head.”

In the end, Cooper wrapped it up by saying that while he might not have gotten everything right, he certainly kept the segment entertaining and made everyone laugh. One fan even asked Cooper, “How hard did you laugh the entire time you were in this man’s presence?”

The podcast was fun throughout, giving fans a glimpse into Hart’s life, and during the quiz, we were unsure whether he was just trying to be funny or genuinely didn’t know what these items were. In the podcast, he also discussed his passion for muscle cars and revealed an unexpected lie about himself that many fans might not know.

Why men need to understand women’s experiences

Men need to understand women’s experiences because relationships, workplaces, and society function better when there is awareness of the realities others live with daily. Many challenges women face—ranging from safety concerns and social expectations to how they are heard, judged, or underestimated—can remain invisible to men who have not had to navigate them. Without that understanding, misunderstandings grow: intentions are misread, communication gaps widen, and support can fall short, even when well-meaning.

Developing this awareness is about building empathy, better judgment, and a stronger connection. In personal relationships, especially, it helps men show up with more patience, respect, and attentiveness, leading to healthier and more balanced dynamics.

This kind of awareness also sets a positive example for children, helping daughters grow with confidence and sons develop compassion and respect.
